The Parker's Journey

Wow I didn't realize how long it has been since we were on here. Our family talked us into joining facebook and it has taken over our lives! Mike is totally addicted to farmville! There has been so many things that has happened since our last post! The big addition is our nephew Mark has had twins, Parker and Olivia. I can't wait to see them.

Our weekend wasn't that exciting but it was restful. On Saturday we went to the European Championships of American Quarter Horses. It was like being at home with the horses. We took our dog Adrian and she did wonderful for the hour drive and was very well behaved after a little of adjustment once we got there. We got to watch the halter showmanship (my favorite, but the girls think it is boring) and cow cutting. We really do miss our horses and showing. Can't wait until we are back home ridin...

I officially know what jet lag is now. For all of you that didn't know...we could not get a rental car because of the flood in louisville. Of all the places in the United States - Louisville had to get flooded! So we ended up taking the Vibe to Charleston, South Carolina. I drove all through the night. I didn't think it would be bad but 3:00 am I realized that I had been up since 7:00 (don't worry Michelle the coffee was worth it) so I had to pull over for about an hour. We arrived around 7:3...

So excited that we get to see the fam!!!!  CJ was picking up the car when I pulled in.  I could see the excitement on his face.  I am sure that will fade  a little once the week ends and the others head back...... 

Girls CAN'T wait to see Sarah & Syd and you too Beck......  We are all excited..... but sad as well knowing that you (Mike) won't be making this trip......

Wow - what an extremely long day!! It started with us arriving at the hospital at 7:00 am. They immediately put us in the room he would be staying in and then left us there for 4 hours. They finally came in and gave Mike a tranqualizer and took him back at 11:30.
